Adventure in Vacaville : Nut Tree Family Park

Entrance to Nut Tree Family Park in Vacaville

Finally the Nut Tree Family Park is open and ready for business. It's been open since October 2006, but I finally got a chance to take a Sunday drive to Vacaville and check it out.

Gabriel had a wonderful time. It is a great little amusement park with pay rides ( a couple bucks a piece) and free ambiance and picnic tables. I got the family pack of ride tickets for 40 bucks and they 4 us of took turns with Gabriel on the Nut Tree Train, the Carousel, Vineyard Ballon Tour, and the Rescue Squad (pictured below).

I still have tickets over for the next time and daddy played several games with the tokens and earned Gabriel a conductor's hat.

There is also plenty of free stuff to enjoy like this cut out with doors and windows.  They also have a Sail Boat Pond, Sensory Garden and Gabriel's favorite the Hobby Horse Corral. He also enjoyed relaxing in a rocking chair while me munched on a churro.

A great adventure for Sunday.
