Safari to The Jungle in Concord
We visited the Jungle in Concord Friday with Grandpa. 7 bucks and the three of us were in. It was a great place, way better than SuperFranks as far as family entertainment centers. They had a dedicated Toddler area with several slides and tot sized play structures. There were several areas for diffferent ages, a huge tunneled play structure in the middle with arcade games upstairs. The dining area was spread was through out facility so you could pick a place and still be able to see the kids playing. The pizza was good but the cheese sticks were undercooked.
In the toddler zone they had play structures, ride on coin operated machines and a ball pit. Gabriel loved one of the structures and kept going down the slide over and over. it was perfect sized for him and I didn't have to worry that he would crash and burn on the bottom.
The play structure has many different tubes and entrances. Gabriel , Grandpa and I headed in on the second floor. We kept exploring all of the tubes and boxed in areas. I felt a little lost about 20 minutes into it but we finally found an exit. this was definately built for kids, but Gabriel is a little too young to be in alone especially when some tubes lead to slides. We had a great time despite some claustrophobia and we emerged sweating like pigs. It was a reminder this 35 year old is not a kid any more!
